There are few coincidences that we encounter in our lives which leave us completely amazed. From meeting your doppelganger to suddenly getting something you really wanted. #1 An engaged couple discovered their parents used to be a couple!
Couple Stephen and Helen Lee had recently got engaged and were looking through their photos from their engagement party. That’s when they figured out that the bride’s mother and the groom’s late father used to be a couple and almost got married in Korea in 1960s. However, as their parents disapproved, they separated from each other. Now the kids are married!
#2 First and last soldier of WWI are buried next to each other
Soldiers who died in World War I are buried in the Saint Symphorien Military Cemetery. As per the records, the 17 year old soldier John Parr was the first English casualty of the war. The last recorded casualty was the 30 year old George Edwin Ellison who is buried 15 feet apart from the grave of John Parr. What are the odds that such a thing could happen?
#3 Meet the Lauras!
In 2001, a girl named Laura Buxton, took a balloon, wrote her name and address on it and let it go. The balloon travelled for 140 miles and ended up in Wiltshire. A farmer caught it and took it to his neighbor’s daughter who was also named as Laura Buxton. She wrote back to Laura and both the Lauras decided to meet. When their families arranged the meeting, they found out that both the girls were almost the same age and both had same pets too (a black Labrador, a rabbit and a guinea pig).
#4 Made for each other!
Married couple Alex and Donna were looking at their old photos and got amazed by one of the photos. In 1980, young Donna along with her siblings went to Disney World, and there was a picture of them posing with Peter Pan’s Smee. They noticed that in the background of the photo, there was young Alex along with his father. The couple found out that they went to Disney World in their childhood at the same time.
#5 Predicting death
Mark Twain was a famous writer who was born in 1835. Other than his writing, he was also famous for predicting his own death. The year he was born was the year when Halley’s comet passed the earth. It appears once in 76 years and Twain said that “I came in with Halley’s comet in 1835, it is coming again next year and I expect to go out with it”. He said this in 1909 and he died on the very day of comet’s appearance in 1910.
#6 A man saved the same baby twice!
In the early 1930s, a man named Joseph Figlock was walking on a street when a baby fell from a high window on him. Both the baby and man survived and the mother was really thankful. A year later, when he was again walking on the same street, the same baby fell from the same window on him. Luckily, they both survived again.
